Professor Ling Ye, the doctoral supervisor, the dean of the West China School/Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, has been supported by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and is the Winner of Education Ministry's New Century Excellent Talents Supporting Plan, the Academic and technical leader of Sichuan Province and the Department of health, the Leading talents of Sichuan health committee, and the famous teacher of Sichuan Province.
Professor Ye has long engaged in pulp biology research and the clinical trial of pulp regeneration. A series of innovative achievements have been made. Professor Ye has presided 16 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, published over 100 academic papers, including the cover articles in “Cell Stem Cell” (authoritative journal in stem cell field), “Journal of Dental Research” (top journals in stomatology ), et. al. , edited and participated 14 monograph textbooks, including “Practical dentistry and Endodontics (the second edition)”. Due to the breakthroughs, Professor Ye has received 12 Science and Technology honors and awards in her scientific career, including the second prize of National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology(rank 4th), the first prize of Youth Science and Technology Award of Sichuan Provice, et. al. , and serves as the chairman of stomatological teaching steering committee of the Ministry of Education, as well as the Associate Editor-in-Chief for “International Journal of Oral Science” and the Editors-in-Chief for “West China Journal of Stomatology”.
